Sztuczna inteligencja jako narzędzie walki z dezinformacją w mediach internetowych w Unii Europejskiej

Niniejsza praca podejmuje kompleksową analizę zjawiska dezinformacji w mediach cyfrowych oraz roli, jaką sztuczna inteligencja (AI) odgrywa w przeciwdziałaniu jej negatywnym skutkom w przestrzeni informacyjnej Unii Europejskiej. W dobie gwałtownej cyfryzacji i dominacji platform społecznościowych informacja stała się zasobem strategicznym, a jednocześnie podatnym na manipulację. W pracy omówiono definicje i formy dezinformacji, w tym fake newsy, manipulacje wizualne, deepfake'i oraz ich wpływ na debatę publiczną. Zidentyfikowano także mechanizmy zaburzeń informacyjnych oraz przykłady kampanii manipulacyjnych na świecie. W części technologicznej przedstawiono działanie systemów AI, wskazując jednocześnie ich ograniczenia. Praca analizuje również europejskie strategie regulacyjne w zakresie AI, podkreślając rolę etyki, przejrzystości algorytmów i współpracy międzynarodowej. In an era of rapid digitization and the dominance of social media platforms, information has become a strategic resource, yet one that is susceptible to manipulation. The paper discusses the definitions and forms of disinformation, including fake news, visual manipulation, deepfakes, and their impact on public debate. It also identifies mechanisms of information disruption and examples of manipulative campaigns around the world. The technological section presents the functioning of AI systems, while pointing out their limitations.
