Iron Age Pottery from Metsamor. New Observations Based on Assemblage Discovered in 2019 Season

The article presents ceramic assemblage found in household contexts from settlement area of Metsamor, dated to Iron I- III periods. Most of presented vessels were found in floor layers as well as in post-abandonment deposits of House II-the building being the largest and the most characteristic structure dated to the Urartian period from settlement area. Due to a new stratigraphic data collected during 2019 excavation the article discuss issues concerning ceramic sequence of Metsamor as well as relative chronology of the site between Iron I and Iron III periods.
