Analyse comparative de la traduction de l’humour dans les films d'Astérix et Obélix sélectionnés et leurs versions doublées en polonais

Poniższa praca ma na celu przeprowadzenie analizy porównawczej tłumaczenia humoru z języka francuskiego na język polski w dubbingowej wersji dwóch filmów z sagi „Asterix i Obelix”. Aby zgłębić temat pracy, na początku przeanalizowaliśmy zagadnienie, jakim jest humor pod kątem etymologii słowa jak i jego definicji zawartych w słownikach, oraz ustalonych przez wybranych badaczy. Skupiliśmy się również na różnych typach humoru zaproponowanych przez konkretnych naukowców oraz podzieliliśmy rodzaje humoru według ustalonych kryteriów. Następnie przyjrzeliśmy się technikom tłumaczeniowym, jakie można zastosować, zaproponowanym przez wybranych badaczy, oraz zasadom i ograniczeniom, które towarzyszą procesowi tworzenia filmów w wersji dubbingowej. Na koniec, opierając się na zgromadzonej wcześniej teorii, przeprowadziliśmy analizę 20 fragmentów zawierających humor. Wnioski, które płyną z naszej pracy, są w pewnych miejscach zaskakujące, ponieważ nie za każdym razem są zgodne z początkowymi założeniami.

The aim of this paper is to carry out a comparative analysis of the translation of humor from French into Polish. We have chosen the dubbed version of two films from the saga of: “Asterix and Obelix. In order to investigate the subject of our thesis, we started by analyzing humor not only from the perspective of the etymology of the word but also from the aspect of its definitions that we had found in some dictionaries. We also consulted articles and books of various researchers who deal with this topic. We also focused on several types of humor proposed by chosen scientists and divided them according to our criteria. Then, we consulted the translation techniques and the rules and restrictions that appear after elaborating the dubbed versions of the movies. At the end, based on the theory we had consulted, we analyzed 20 fragments containing various types of humor. The conclusions that can be drawn from this work are surprising in some parts because they are not the same as we were thinking at the beginning.

Ce travail a comme objectif de mener une analyse comparative de la traduction de l’humour de la langue française à la langue polonaise. Nous avons choisi la version doublée de deux films de la saga : « Astérix et Obélix ». Afin d’approfondir le sujet de notre mémoire, premièrement, nous avons analysé l'étymologie du mot « humour », ainsi que ses définitions marquées aussi bien par les dictionnaires que par les différents chercheurs. Nous nous sommes également concentrés sur les types de l’humour proposés par les scientifiques. Nous avons divisé aussi ces types selon les critères concrets. Ensuite, nous avons étudié les techniques de la traduction proposées par les chercheurs en question ainsi que les règles et limites qui sont visibles lors de la préparation de la version doublée. À la fin, en nous basant sur le matériel sélectionné, nous avons analysé 20 fragments contenant le comique. Les conclusions que nous avons tirées de nos recherches sont, dans certains cas, surprenantes puisqu'elles ne correspondent pas avec ce que nous avion pensé au début.
