Marek Hłasko i jego twórczość w dokumentach GUKPPiW (lata pięćdziesiąte i sześćdziesiąte). Rekonesans

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie drogi twórczej Marka Hłaski w kontekście istnienia i działania w Polsce GUKPPiW. Przyjęty okres (od książkowego debiutu, poprzez odwilżową liberalizację i jej wygasanie, do wyjazdu z kraju) służy rozpoznaniu czasu szczególnego nasilenia kontroli wobec Hłaski, która zdecydowanie łagodnieje po śmierci pisarza, zwłaszcza od połowy lat siedemdziesiątych. Metoda badawcza opiera się na analizie i interpretacji dokumentów archiwalnych cenzury w kontekście funkcjonującego w danym okresie życia społeczno-politycznego i kulturalnego oraz w szerszym aspekcie zmieniającej się polityki cenzorskiej w PRL.

The purpose of this article is to show Hłasko’s creative path in the context of the existence and operation of the Main Office for the Control of the Press, Publications, and Public Performances (GUKPPiW) in Poland. The reason for the period adopted in the article (from his book debut through the “Thaw” liberalization and its slow fade to his departure from the country) is to recognize the time of particular intensification of control against Hłasko, which definitely eases after his death and particularly from the mid-1970s. The research method is based on the analysis and interpretation of archive documents of the censorship office both in the context of the socio-political and cultural life prevailing at the time and in the broader aspect of the changing censorship policy in the People’s Republic of Poland.
