La producción cerámica fenicia en oriente y occidente. Algunos aspectos a reconsiderar
Abstrakt (EN)
An analysis of the Phoenician ceramic production in the Mediterranean reveals its heterogeneous nature. Typological, sequential and chronological differences between both extremes of the Mediterranean are evident, a situation that matches that of the Phoenician expansion itself. Two aspects should be considered in this regard. First, the Metropolitan ceramic repertoire is still poorly perceived, giving place to the establishment of erroneous connections between regions. Second, certain approaches consider the Phoenician ceramic production a unitary phenomenon in the entire Mediterranean. Given those circumstances, many situations observed in overseas contexts cannot be explained from a Metropolitan perspective, their sequential identification is complicated and their chronologies unsatisfactory. The consequences are thus obvious in the analysis of economic and social issues. Therefore, the aim of this paper is the analysis of those factors that had a direct influence on the nature of the Phoenician pottery productions overseas.
