Międzysłowiański przekład: polskojęzyczny diariusz Filipa Orlika (1672-1742) w tłumaczeniu na ukraiński

Drawing on personal experience, the article discusses the process of preparing the manuscript of The Diariusz podróżny of Pylyp Orlyk (1672-1742) for translation and actual translation from old Polish and Lacin languages to modern Ukrainian. The diary was written in 1724 has not been published before. The translation of the diary included preparatory work in free steps. The first stage required reading an abridged manuscript created at the end of 18th century by anonymous Polish paleographers. This manuscript with a facsimile of the manuscript published by Harvard University. In stage three the author of the article compares the Harvard facsimile with the original manuscript of the Orlik diary, which was found in 2012 in the Diplomatic Archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France. The original text has been translated into Ukrainian, as the Harvard facsimile includes some omissions. In the article the contents of The Diariusz...are also discussed. Orlik attempted to translate himself and supported his work with solutions of an intersemiotic nature: pictures accompanied by their verbal description
