Rada Europy: geneza, system instytucjonalny, Europejska Konwencja Praw Człowieka oraz funkcjonowanie

Praca podejmuje problematykę związaną z Radą Europy. Jest to jedna z ważniejszych organizacji międzynarodowych o charakterze regionalnym, która zajmuje się głównie ochroną praw człowieka i podstawowych wolności. Mimo, że powstała w maju 1949 r. jej działalność podlega stałej ewolucji. Praca dyplomowa składa się z 4 rozdziałów. Pierwszy dotyczy genezy złożonego procesu powstania RE. Drugi traktuje o systemie instytucjonalnym przedmiotowej organizacji. Trzeci rozdział został poświęcony najważniejszej umowie międzynarodowej związanej z RE, czyli Europejskiej Konwencji Praw Człowieka. W rozdziale czwartym scharakteryzowano statutowe cele działania RE, wybrane dziedziny jej działalności oraz relacje z innymi organizacjami międzynarodowymi.

The work deals with issues related to the Council of Europe. It is one of the most important international organisations of a regional nature, which is mainly concerned with the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms. Although it was established in May 1949, its activities are in constant evolution. The thesis consists of 4 chapters. The first deals with the genesis the complex process of the creation of the COE. The second deals with the institutional system of the organisation in question. The third chapter is devoted to the most important international agreement related to the RE, the European Convention on Human Rights. The fourth chapter characterises the statutory objectives of the RE, selected areas of its activity and its relations with other international organisations.
