Polnische Entsprechungen deutscher Nominalkomposita in der Fachsprache des Bauwesens

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza tłumaczenia niemieckich złożeń nominalnych z zakresu języka technicznego w branży budowlanej na język polski. W części teoretycznej omówiono cechy charakterystyczne języka specjalistycznego, w tym technicznej terminologii fachowej, a także problematykę ekwiwalencji między tekstem źródłowym i docelowym. W części praktycznej przeanalizowano rozwiązania tłumaczeniowe złożeń nominalnych, określających parametry techniczne w kartach produktów budowlanych, które są aktualnie oferowane na rynku polskim przez czterech niemieckich oraz jednego austriackiego producenta. Łącznie przeanalizowano 70 terminów technicznych mających formę złożeń. Badanie polegało na wskazaniu technik tłumaczeniowych zastosowanych w polskim tłumaczeniu tych jednostek leksykalnych oraz na analizie strukturalnej ich polskich odpowiedników. Z przeprowadzonej analizy wynika, że w badanym korpusie równoległym najczęstszą metodą jest tłumaczenie dosłowne lub zastosowanie jednego z ekwiwalentów przyjętych w polskiej tradycji terminologicznej, natomiast w strukturze formalnej polskich terminów dominuje użycie frazy syntaktycznej złożonej z rzeczownika oraz rzeczownika lub przymiotnika w formie atrybutywnej. Analiza translatoryczna ukazała ponadto sporadyczny brak konsekwencji w tłumaczeniu terminów fachowych, co jednak nie wpłynęło negatywnie na osiągnięcie ekwiwalencji referencyjnej w tekście docelowym.

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the translation of German nominal compounds used in the specialized language of the construction industry into Polish. The theoretical part discusses the characteristic features of specialized language, with particular emphasis on technical terminology, as well as the concept of equivalence between the source and target texts as a criterion for successful translation. The practical part examines translation solutions applied to nominal compounds denoting technical parameters in product data sheets for construction materials offered on the Polish market by four German manufacturers and one Austrian manufacturer. A total of 70 examples were analysed with regard to the translation techniques employed and the structural characteristics of their Polish equivalents. The results indicate that literal translation and the use of established equivalents are the most frequently applied translation techniques in the analysed corpus. From a structural perspective, the Polish equivalents are predominantly realized as syntactic phrases consisting of a noun modified either by another noun in the genitive case or by an adjective. The analysis of individual examples also revealed instances of simplification and inconsistency in translation. However, these did not prevent referential equivalence from being achieved in the target texts.

Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Analyse der Übersetzung deutscher Nominalkomposita aus der technischen Fachsprache des Bauwesens ins Polnische. Im theoretischen Teil werden die charakteristischen Merkmale der Fachsprache und Fachterminologie, sowie die Äquivalenz zwischen Ausgangs- und Zieltext als Maßstab einer erfolgreichen Übersetzung erötert. Im praktischen Teil werden die Übersetzungen der Nominalkomposita analysiert, die technischen Parameter in Produktdatenblätter von Baustoffen bezeichnen, welche auf dem polnischen Markt von vier deutschen und einem österreichischen Hersteller angeboten werden. Insgesamt wurden 70 Beispiele untersucht. Die Analyse betraf die angewandten Übersetzungstechniken sowie die Struktur der polnischen Entsprechungen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass in dem untersuchten Korpus die wörtliche Übersetzung sowie die Verwendung etablierter Äquivalente die häufigsten Übersetzungsverfahren darstellen. Hinsichtlich der Struktur dominieren im Polnischen syntaktische Wortgruppen, die aus einem Substantiv und einem weiteren Substantiv oder einem Adjektiv in attributiver Funktion bestehen. Die Analyse einzelner Fälle zeigte zudem das Auftreten von Vereinfachungen sowie translatorischer Inkonsequenzen, die jedoch die referenzielle Äquivalenz nicht beeinträchtigten.
