Celem pracy jest ukazanie, jak autorka przedstawia życie ormiańskiej diaspory, jej kulturę, tradycje i wyzwania tożsamościowe w kontekście współczesnego Iranu. The work is devoted to the analysis of the identity of Armenians in Iran based on the collection of short stories by Zoya Pirzad One day Before Easter. The aim of the work is to show how the author presents the life of the Armenian diaspora, its culture, traditions and identity challenges in the context of contemporary Iran. The analysis focuses on such issues as: elements of Armenian cultural, religious and social identity present in the stories, the experience of cultural dualism of the characters, the influence of history and politics on the formation of identity and the role of literature as a carrier of collective memory. The work emphasizes that the identity of Armenians in Iran is dynamic, multidimensional and subject to negotiations between heritage and integration with Iranian culture.
