Abstrakt (EN)

An important factor in the Catholic reconquest of Silesia in the seventeenth century was the cultivation of music modelled on the Italian style, which was promoted by circles connected with the Society of Jesus and financed by the new political elites of this region, ones predominantly linked to the House of Habsburg.
