„Im już potrzebne nie było, a nam nic nie zostało. Badania terenowe nad pozyskiwaniem i wtórnym wykorzystaniem wyposażenia Wojska Polskiego oraz społecznej pamięci wydarzeń września 1939 roku na terenie bitwy nad Bzurą.

Praca opisuje walki armii „Poznań“ i „Pomorze“ w II i III fazie bitwy nad Bzurą we wrześniu 1939 roku. Druga część pracy koncentruje się na pamięci społecznej bitwy w badanym rejonie oraz materialnych śladach umundurowania, wyposażenia i broni Wojska Polskiego (mienia powojskowego) wykorzystywanego w kampanii wrześniowej, metod jego pozyskiwania przez ludność lokalną i ich wtórnego użytkowania.

The dissertation discusses the participations of the Poznań and Pomorze armies in the second and third phases of the Battle of Bzura in September 1939. The second part of the dissertattion focuses on the social memory of the battle in the studied area and material remnants of uniforms, equipment and weapons of the Polish Armed Forces (post-military property) used in the September Campaign, methods of acquisition them by the local population and their secondary use.
