Traducibilità del grottesco nel teatro. Analisi della traduzione italiana di ‘Ślub’ di Witold Gombrowicz.

W niniejszej pracy analizuję przekładalność groteski w teatrze, biorąc za przedmiot badań dramat Ślub Witolda Gombrowicza oraz jego włoski przekład autorstwa Giulii De Biase. W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiam cechy charakterystyczne twórczości literackiej i myśli filozoficznej autora, analizując ponadto realizację groteski w dramacie jako kategorii, w której odzwierciedlają się wyróżniki jego indywidualnego stylu. W drugim rozdziale staram się zdefiniować przekład teatralny, podkreślając intersemiotyczną naturę tego procesu. W trzecim rozdziale analizuję włoskie tłumaczenie dramatu na podstawie konkretnych przykładów zaczerpniętych z tekstu źródłowego, w których ujawniają się opisane wcześniej elementy groteski.

In this thesis, I analyze the translatability of the grotesque in theater, focusing on the play Ślub by Witold Gombrowicz and its Italian translation by Giulia De Biase. In the first chapter, I present the characteristics of the author's literary production and philosophical thought, while also analyzing the manifestation of the grotesque in the drama as a category that reflects the distinctive traits of his individual style. In the second chapter, I attempt to define theatrical translation, emphasizing the intersemiotic nature of this process. In the third chapter, I analyze the Italian translation of the play based on concrete examples from the source text, highlighting the elements of the grotesque previously described.

In questa tesi analizzo la traducibilità del grottesco nel teatro prendendo come oggetto di studio il dramma Ślub di Witold Gombrowicz e la sua traduzione italiana realizzata da Giulia De Biase. Nel primo capitolo presento le caratteristiche della produzione letteraria e del pensiero filosofico dell’autore, analizzando inoltre la realizzazione del grottesco nel dramma come categoria nella quale si riflettono i tratti distintivi del suo stile individuale. Nel secondo capitolo cerco di definire la traduzione teatrale, sottolineando la natura intersemiotica di tale processo. Nel terzo capitolo analizzo la traduzione italiana del dramma sulla base di esempi concreti tratti dal prototesto, nei quali emergono gli elementi del grottesco descritti in precedenza.
