Czy wciąż jesteśmy kantowscy? Refleksje o współczesnej wersji estetycznego autonomizmu

As aestheticians and in broader sense - humanists - we are still 'Kantian' what needs constant emphasis in the reception of Kant's heritage; not only as successors of Kantian aesthetical autonomy and division of experiences but also as successors of his concept of the transfacultative subordinate to the idea of creating man. These two sides of Kant's "heritage" gain new meaning and come together in a new way in the current humanities practice; in the time of "turns" in the contemporary humanities. Kant needs to be read anew: not only is he the father of autonomous aesthetics but also initiates philosophical approach toards the play of the autonomous and the unautonomous in aesthetics; he achieves it mainly in the transition from the cognitive to performative model in the analytics of the sublime.
