n-torsion clean rings

Letnbe an arbitrary natural number. The class of (strongly)n-torsionclean rings is introduced and investigated. Abeliann-torsion clean rings are somewhatcharacterized and a complete characterization of stronglyn-torsion clean rings is given inthe case whennis odd. Some open questions are posed at the end.
