Analiza porównawcza serwisów dystrybutorów gier komputerowych
Abstrakt (EN)
The aim of this article is to identify characteristic features of selected websites of computer games distributors. The article is a continuation of the research focused on the popularity, use and impact of games on the behaviour of the distinguished population and analysis of typical e-shops offering games. For the purpose of the analysis the Authors have chosen the four computer game services most popular with students, which are simultaneously appear in the first hundreds of searches in Google search engine. The Authors have conducted CAWI analyses for nine groups of features: transparency, site navigation, quality of information, product search quality, advertis-ing, the quality of order processing, way of visualization and product promotion from the customer’s perspective. A qualitative study has been conducted on a selected sam-ple of students with the use of the point method and the point method with preferences to evaluate the distinctive features of the services. A group of over seven hundred randomly selected people from the university have been covered by the research. The results of the work may be used by the owners of computer games distribution plat-forms and website designer.
