Le sentiment d’auto-efficacité chez les étudiants en études romanes à l’Université de Varsovie

Celem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest zbadanie zjawiska samo-skuteczności wśród studentów filologii romańskiej na Wydziale Neofilologii Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Za pomocą narzędzi badawczych takich jak ankieta i auto-narracja, zbadano zarówno obecność, jak i brak wyżej wspomnianego poczucia wśród uczestników badania. Skupiono uwagę na czynnikach, od których zależy występowanie zjawiska samo-skuteczności, kompetencjach uczniów w organizacji swojej pracy, jak i ich emocjach wokół procesu uczenia się języka francuskiego jako języka obcego. Badanie objęło także aspekt definicji tego odczucia, dokonywanej przez studentów. Badanie objęło studentów trzeciego roku studiów pierwszego stopnia oraz studentów pierwszego i drugiego roku studiów drugiego stopnia. Wyniki wskazują na wysokie poczucie samo-skuteczności wśród badanych studentów, ich samo-dyscyplinę, poczucie kontroli i odpowiedzialności w procesie uczenia się. Ponadto, studenci wykazują także wysoką świadomość wpływu czynników zewnętrznych.

The aim of this master's thesis is to examine the phenomenon of self-efficacy among students of Romance philology at the Faculty of Modern Languages at the University of Warsaw. Using research tools such as questionnaires and self-narratives, the study focuses on both the presence and absence of self-efficacy among participants. Attention is paid to the factors determining the manifestation of this phenomenon, the students' skills in organizing their work, and their emotions associated with the process of learning French as a foreign language. The analysis also includes how students define this feeling. The sample consists of third-year bachelor's students as well as first- and second-year master's students. The results highlight a high level of self-efficacy among the students surveyed, accompanied by strong self-discipline and a sense of control and responsibility in the learning process. However, the students also demonstrate a marked awareness of the influence of external factors.

L’objectif du présent mémoire de master est d’examiner le phénomène de l’auto-efficacité chez les étudiants en philologie romane à la Faculté de Néophilologie de l’Université de Varsovie. À l’aide d’outils de recherche tels que le questionnaire et l’auto-narration, l’étude porte à la fois sur la présence et sur l’absence du sentiment d’auto-efficacité parmi les participants. L’attention est portée aux facteurs déterminant la manifestation de ce phénomène, aux compétences des étudiants dans l’organisation de leur travail, ainsi qu’à leurs émotions associées au processus d’apprentissage du français comme langue étrangère. L’analyse inclut également la manière dont les étudiants définissent ce sentiment. L’échantillon se compose d’étudiants de troisième année de licence ainsi que d’étudiants de première et de deuxième année de master. Les résultats mettent en évidence un niveau élevé d’auto-efficacité chez les étudiants interrogés, accompagné d’une forte autodiscipline, d’un sentiment de contrôle et de responsabilité dans le processus d’apprentissage. Toutefois, les étudiants font également preuve d’une conscience marquée de l’influence des facteurs externes.
