Analiza semantyczno-motywacyjna imion koni sportowych i rekreacyjnych (na podstawie badań ankietowych)

Celem pracy licencjackiej była analiza semantyczna i motywacyjna imion koni sportowych i rekreacyjnych. Badania przeprowadzono na podstawie ankiet skierowanych do właścicieli i hodowców koni. Respondenci zostali poproszeni o podanie imion swoich koni, a także o wyjaśnienie motywacji stojących za ich wyborem. Badania wykazały różnice w motywacjach nadawania imion obu grupom koni. W przypadku koni sportowych dominowała motywacja związana z aspiracjami do osiągania sukcesów oraz chęć wyróżnienia konia na arenie międzynarodowej. Właściciele koni rekreacyjnych częściej kierowali się osobistymi skojarzeniami, wspomnieniami oraz cechami indywidualnymi konia. Wnioski z pracy podkreślają, że wybór imienia dla konia nie jest przypadkowy i odzwierciedla zarówno cele właściciela, jak i relację, jaką buduje on ze swoim zwierzęciem. Praca ukazuje, jak różne mogą być podejścia do nadawania imion w zależności od przeznaczenia konia i jakie znaczenie mają te imiona dla właścicieli i społeczności jeździeckiej.

The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to analyze the semantics and motivations behind the names of sport and recreational horses. The research was conducted based on surveys directed at horse owners and breeders. Respondents were asked to provide the names of their horses and explain the motivations behind their choices. The research revealed differences in the motivations for naming the two groups of horses. For sport horses, the motivation was predominantly related to aspirations for success and the desire to distinguish the horse on the international stage. Owners of recreational horses more often relied on personal associations, memories, and the individual characteristics of the horse. The conclusions of the thesis highlight that the choice of a horse's name is not random and reflects both the owner's goals and the relationship they build with their animal. The work shows how different approaches to naming can be depending on the horse's purpose and what significance these names hold for the owners and the equestrian community.
