“Гутарка двух суседаў” як першае беларускамоўнае перыядычнае выданне

The article considers a number of issues related to the emergence and expansion of the first Belarusian-language periodical – “Conversations of Two Neighbors”. Particular attention is paid to the problem of the publication’s preservation, the dating of its issues (as well as the dating of all Belarusian-language propaganda literature published by the Bialystok printing house). The question of possible authors of “Conversations…” is also raised. Based on the data of Henryk Mościcki (Kastuś Kalinoŭski created a free translation into Belarusian of the anthem Jeszcze Polska nie zginęła), a conclusion is made about the involvement of the leader of the 1863 Uprising in the territory of modern-day Belarus to write propaganda literature.
