Praca magisterska skupia się na analizie wpływu polityki pieniężnej na gospodarkę Polski w kontekście działań podejmowanych przez Narodowego Banku Polskiego (NBP) w latach 2015-2021. Pierwszy rozdział wprowadza czytelnika w tematykę, definiując pojęcie i istotę polityki pieniężnej oraz prezentując podział polityki finansowej na monetarną i fiskalną. Następnie zostaje omówiony zakres i kompetencje NBP oraz kwestię niezależności banku centralnego. Rozdział kończy się analizą problemu koordynacji polityk, zwłaszcza w kontekście Komitetu Stabilności Finansowej. W drugim rozdziale następują rozważania nt. jakie są cele i narzędzia polityki pieniężnej, przybliżając znaczenie banku centralnego oraz omawiając instrumenty polityki monetarnej, takie jak stopy procentowe, rezerwy obowiązkowe, operacje otwartego rynku i operacje kredytowo-depozytowe. Trzeci rozdział koncentruje się na oddziaływaniu Banku Centralnego na gospodarkę, min przedstawia makroekonomiczny model gospodarki rynkowej, gdzie omówione zostaje w aspekcie teoretycznym oddziaływanie Banku Centralnego na gospodarkę w wyniku polityki pieniężnej. Analizie zostaje podana również stopa procentowa, podaż pieniądza i nominalny produkt krajowy brutto jako cele pośrednie Banku Centralnego. W końcowym rozdziale badawczym przeanalizowano kompleksową analizę polityki pieniężnej NBP w latach 2015-2021, biorąc pod uwagę jej wpływ na kurs waluty, konsumpcję, inflację i koszty kredytów hipotecznych, wskazując na kluczowe decyzje i ich skutki, co pozwala na pełniejsze zrozumienie roli banku centralnego w kształtowaniu gospodarki Polski w badanym okresie.

The master's thesis focuses on the analysis of the impact of monetary policy on the Polish economy in the context of activities undertaken by the National Bank of Poland (NBP) in 2015-2021. The first chapter introduces the reader to the subject, defining the concept and essence of monetary policy and presenting the division of financial policy into monetary and fiscal. Then, the scope and competences of the NBP and the issue of the independence of the central bank are discussed. The chapter ends with an analysis of the problem of policy coordination, especially in the context of the Financial Stability Committee. The second chapter considers the goals and tools of monetary policy, presenting the importance of the central bank and discussing monetary policy instruments, such as interest rates, reserve requirements, open market operations and credit and deposit operations. The third chapter focuses on the impact of the Central Bank on the economy, including a macroeconomic model of a market economy, where the theoretical aspect of the impact of the Central Bank on the economy as a result of monetary policy is discussed. The analysis also includes the interest rate, money supply and nominal gross domestic product as intermediate goals of the Central Bank. The final research chapter analyzed a comprehensive analysis of the NBP's monetary policy in 2015-2021, taking into account its impact on the exchange rate, consumption, inflation and mortgage costs, pointing to key decisions and their effects, which allows for a more complete understanding of the role of the central bank in shaping the Polish economy in the period under study
