Teatralne efemerydy. Analiza druków ulotnych Teatru Wielkiego-Opery Narodowej

Celem pracy jest ukazanie znaczenia oraz różnorodności druków ulotnych wydawanych przez Teatr Wielki – Operę Narodową. W pierwszej części pracy nakreślony został rys historyczny druków ulotnych oraz podjęty został przegląd literatury dziedzinowej. Następnie przyjrzano się specyfice dokumentacji teatralnej, a w szczególności różnego typu teatraliom. Dalej zwrócono uwagę na miejsca oraz sposoby gromadzenia druków w TW – ON, a następnie pogłębionej analizie formalno-historycznej poddane zostały główne typy efemeryd, których wydawcą jest TW – ON. Druki takie jak programy teatralne, plakaty, afisze, repertuary, pocztówki, wydawnictwa sezonowe czy wkładki obsadowe zostały opisane zarówno w kontekście ich ewolucji zawartościowej czy formalnej na przestrzeni lat, jak i poprzez ich aktualną specyfikę. W ostatnim rozdziale podjęte zostały rozważania na temat specyfiki programów teatralnych wydawanych przez TW – ON. Wysnuta została teza, według której druki te wychodząc poza proste definicje programów teatralnych stają się rozbudowanymi książkami spektaklowymi.

The aim of this work is to demonstrate the importance and diversity of ephemera published by the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera. The first part of the study presents a historical outline of ephemera and reviews the relevant literature. Next, the specificity of theatre documentation is examined, particularly various types of theatricalia. Further, attention is drawn to the locations and methods of collecting materials at the institution, followed by an in-depth formal and historical analysis of the main types of ephemera published by the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera. Publications such as theatre programs, posters, playbills, repertoires, postcards, seasonal publications, and cast inserts are described both in the context of their content and formal evolution over the years, as well as through their current characteristics. The final chapter considers the specificity of theatre programs published by the Opera House. The thesis is advanced that these publications, by going beyond simple definitions of theatre programs, become comprehensive performance books.
