Tematyka poniższej pracy dotyczy rasizmu wobec Brazylijczyków na portugalskim rynku pracy. Celem pracy jest ukazanie wpływu ideologii dyktatury, mającej miejsce w XX wieku w Portugalii, na współczesne postawy społeczeństwa związane z nierównościami społecznymi. Co więcej, zbadano jaką rolę pełniły idee przekazywane przez rząd i w jakim stopniu przejawiają się we współczesnym narodzie portugalskim. W przygotowaniu pracy poddano analizie dokumenty państwowe, takie jak Konstytucja Portugalii czy Kodeks Pracy. The theme of the following thesis is racism towards Brazilians in the Portuguese labour market. The aim of the thesis is to show the impact of the ideology of dictatorship, taking place in the 20th century in Portugal, on the contemporary attitudes of society related to social inequality. Furthermore, it explores what role the ideas conveyed by the government played and to what extent they are manifested in the contemporary Portuguese nation. In the preparation of the thesis, state documents such as the Portuguese Constitution and the Labour Code were analysed. It was important to cite the rules of the European Union, of which Portugal is a member, concerning the fight against racism and inequality in order to understand the problem accurately. Academic articles and previously written thesis works were also referred to. The thesis included information on government proposals, such as commissions or specific plans, to work towards equality and the elimination of racism. The interpretation of research on the constantly increasing migration of Brazilians to Portugal, as well as concrete accounts of Brazilians, support the thesis of the topicality of the issue described in Portuguese society.

O tema da tese que se apresenta é o racismo em relação aos brasileiros no mercado de trabalho português. O objetivo da tese é mostrar o impacto da ideologia da ditadura, que teve lugar no século XX em Portugal, nas atitudes contemporâneas da sociedade relacionadas com a desigualdade social. Além disso, explora o papel que as ideias veiculadas pelo governo desempenharam e em que medida se manifestam na nação portuguesa contemporânea. Para a elaboração da tese, foram analisados documentos do Estado, como a Constituição Portuguesa e o Código do Trabalho. Foi importante citar as normas da União Europeia, da qual Portugal faz parte, relativas à luta contra o racismo e a desigualdade para compreender o problema com exatidão. Foram também consultados artigos académicos e trabalhos de tese escritos anteriormente. A tese incluiu informação sobre propostas governamentais, como comissões ou planos específicos, para trabalhar em favor da igualdade e da eliminação do racismo. A interpretação de pesquisas sobre a crescente migração de brasileiros para Portugal, bem como relatos concretos de brasileiros, sustentam a tese da atualidade do tema descrito na sociedade portuguesa.
