Sztuka przekazywania przywództwa – perspektywa procesowa

Abstrakt (EN)

Since the inception of the field there is an everlasting debate between advocates of intrinsic and learnt leadership [see Stogdill 1974; Lewin 1939; Hersey, Blanchard 1996; Kets de Vries 2003]. Whatever perspective one choose the effect is motivation and dedication of employees. The leadership transfer from the current to the next leader is always a critical since then we can see the key aspects of leadership, specifically for family companies [Cabrera-Suarez, 2005]. On the basis of leadership transfer theories [Ballinger, Schormann 2007] and the theater metaphor [Mangham, Overington 1987; Kostera, Koźmiński 2001] I will present three different dramas: tragedy on the basis of project organization, melodrama on the basis of recycling company and slices of life on the basis of production firm. I will present heroes, script, decorations and the plot of the drama including improvisation by actors. The findings are based on longitudinal project using action research [Whyte 1991] that lasted for almost ten years in two organizations and 2 years in the third. The researcher was performing different roles: a mentor, a consultant or confessor and stakeholder of the organizations.
