DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE. UNA MIRADA HACIA ATRÁS

The debate about sustainable development provokes many emotions. Its participants look and put forward often proposed comfortable and satisfactory but short-term solutions. Nevertheless, to design the future it is necessary to check the whole series of economic behaviors of the past, which stood the test of the time and with had sustainability verifi ed. In the article examples related to the agriculture of groove, the chinampa and the agricultural phenomenon of the Palm Grove of Elche are analised. They all offer interesting concepts as to design of the sustainable development at least in rural areas.
