Dekarbonizacja transportu kolejowego jako element polityki klimatycznej

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest prezentacja planów transformacji energetycznej polskiego systemu kolejowego w kontekście celów europejskiej i krajowej polityki klimatycznej. Po krótkim wprowadzeniu i odwołaniu do głównych źródeł, autor omawia współczesne metody ograniczania emisji zanieczyszczeń towarzyszącej wykorzystaniu energii trakcyjnej na kolei. W drugiej części opisane są etapy konkretnego planu zakładającego docelowe osiągnięcie zeroemisyjności tego środka transportu. Całość zamyka podsumowanie, które wskazuje generalną zmianę priorytetów europejskiej polityki transportowej i wynikające z tego nowe szanse oraz impulsy dla rozwoju kolei.

The aim of this paper is to present the plans for the energy transformation of the Polish railway system in the context of the objectives of the European and national climate policy. After a short introduction and reference to the main sources, the author discusses modern methods of reducing pollutant emissions accompanying the use of traction energy on the railroad. The second part describes the steps of a specifi c plan with the goal of achieving zero emissions for this mode of transport. The whole thing ends with a summary which indicates a general change in the priorities of the European transport policy and the resulting new opportunities and impulses for the development of railways.
