Praca ma na celu próbę odpowiedzi na pytania Jacques’a Derridy dotyczące relacji pomiędzy rozwojem technologicznym a reprezentacją i funkcjonowaniem aparatu psychicznego oraz pamięci. Aby go osiągnąć, poddaje analizie kontekst i użycie terminu farmakon w filozofii Derridy oraz jego ucznia - Bernarda Stieglera, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem stosowanych przez nich teorii psychoanalitycznych. Na koniec przedstawiono różnice między myślą obu filozofów, zawarte w ich rozumieniu farmakonu oraz zaprezentowane w ich wspólnym wywiadzie.

The work’s aim is an attempt at a response to Jacques Derrida's questions about the relationship between technological development and the representation and the functioning of the psychic apparatus and memory. To achieve it, it analyzes the context and use of the term pharmakon in the philosophy of Derrida and in the thought of his student Bernard Stiegler, with a particular focus on the psychoanalytic theories they used. Finally, it presents the differences between the two philosophers' theories, as embodied in their understanding of the pharmakon.
