Rendez-Vous at the Grove. A Note on the nuntarriyašḫaš Festival (CTH 626)

Niniejszy artykuł powstał w ramach projektu finansowanego przez Narodowe Centrum Nauki: „Miasto w hetyckiej Anatolii w świetle źródeł klinowych” (2021/41/B/HS3/00661). Pierwsza z kilku podróży kultowych, które król hetycki odbył w ramach święta nuntarrijaszhasz, rozpoczynała się w Katapie, prowadziła przez Tahurpę i Arinnę, a kończyła się w Chattusie. Do każdego miasta docierano kolejnego dnia, a ostatni etap podróży miał miejsce 6. lub 7. dnia święta (w zależności od wersji).

This article was written as part of the project funded by the Polish National Science Centre: “The City in Hittite Anatolia the Light of the Cuneiform Sources” (2021/41/B/HS3/00661). The first of several cultic journeys the Hittite king made in the course of the nuntarriyašḫaš festival started in Katapa, lead through Taḫurpa and Arinna, and ended at Ḫattuša. Each city was reached on a subsequent day and the last stage of the trip took place on the 6th or 7th day of the festival (depending on the version).
