The role of Türkiye in the Organization of Turkic States - prospects and challenges

This thesis demonstrates Türkiye's critical role in revitalizing and promoting the idea of a unified Turkic World through strategic leadership, cultural initiatives, and economic cooperation. This study also examines the historical context of the Turks, critical for understanding present partnerships. Türkiye's efforts have been multidimensional, including not only diplomatic engagements but also significant investments in infrastructure, education and technology transfer among the Turkic States. In line with these endeavors, Türkiye has positioned itself as a central figure in the ongoing development and integration of the Turkic States. While the political, economic, and cultural domains stand as the driving areas of the cooperation for the Turkic States within the Organization. Apart from analyzing Türkiye’s involvement, future prospects of the Organization of Turkic States and highlights of the challenges that lie ahead in the prosperous Turkic World. The findings of this research highlights the potential for a unified Turkic World to emerge as a significant force on the global stage, driven by shared values, mutual interests, and a collective vision for the future.
