Ocena działania i funkcjonowania programów profilaktyki zakażeń wirusem HPV – analiza porównawcza Polski i Australii
W rozdziale drugim zamieszczono ujęcie teoretyczne i organizacyjne zarządzania programami profilaktyki zdrowotnej. W rozdziale trzecim omówiono organizację programów profilaktyki zakażeń wirusem HPV w Polsce na tle modelu przyjętego w Australii. W rozdziale czwartym dokonano oceny i analizy porównawczej funkcjonowania programów profilaktyki HPV w Polsce oraz Australii w oparciu o dane wtórne oraz wyniki badań własnych.

The problem of human papillomavirus (HPV) infections constitutes a significant public health challenge worldwide. At the same time, prevention programmes implemented in different countries vary considerably in terms of organisation, accessibility, and effectiveness. Vaccination is one of the most effective tools of primary prevention; therefore, analysing how vaccination programmes operate within different healthcare systems is of considerable practical and social importance.
The choice of Poland and Australia as comparative countries results from clear differences in the level of advancement of vaccination programmes. Australia is widely recognised as one of the leaders in the implementation and effectiveness of HPV programmes, which is reflected in its high vaccination coverage and well-developed school-based vaccination system. A comparative analysis of Poland and Australia makes it possible to identify good practices and potential areas requiring improvement in the national healthcare system. The research methods used in the study included the analysis of secondary data and the survey method. The structure of the thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter presents programmes for the prevention of HPV infections as a public health challenge. The second chapter provides a theoretical and organisational perspective on the management of health prevention programmes. The third chapter discusses the organisation of HPV infection prevention programmes in Poland against the background of the model adopted in Australia. The fourth chapter evaluates and comparatively analyses the functioning of HPV prevention programmes in Poland and Australia, based on secondary data and the results of the author’s own research.
