AS DUAS REVOLUÇÕES RUSSAS DE 1917

Data publikacji
Abstrakt (EN)

The Russian revolution that broke up on February 25, 1917 forced Tsar Nicholas II to resign and Russia became a parliamentary republic with parties that operated legally. Unfortunately, the government did not withdraw from the war, which contributed to the intensification of the revolutionary feelings. In April 1917 a special train brought from Switzerland to Petrograd − the Russian capital − Vladimir Lenin, the Bolsheviks’ leader. On the night of October 24 -25, 1917 broke up the second revolution − called the October Revolution. After the seizure of the Winter Palace in Petrograd, where Aleksandr Kerenski had his governmental seat, the power in the country was taken by The Congress of the Workers and Soldiers of all Russias, which proclaimed the establishment of the Soviet Republic.
