Older persons and the digitalization of financial services, brief for the United Nations Human Rights Council’s IGWG on Older Persons

Zgodnie z rezolucją 58/13 Rady Praw Człowieka oraz wezwaniem IGWG do przesłania uwag i opinii, składamy krótkie stanowisko dotyczące dostępu osób starszych do usług finansowych w kontekście postępującej cyfryzacji. Przedstawione poniżej ustalenia opierają się na trwającym projekcie badawczym zatytułowanym „Combatting financial exclusion of the elderly in the digital era”, finansowanym przez Narodowe Centrum Nauki (nr 2023/51/D/HS5/01563) i realizowanym na Wydziale Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego.

Pursuant to Resolution 58/13 of the Human Rights Council and the subsequent IGWG’s call for input, we are submitting a brief regarding older persons’ access to financial services in the context of increasing digitalization. The findings listed below are informed by an ongoing research project titled “Combatting financial exclusion of the elderly in the digital era” funded by the Polish National Science Center (No. 2023/51/D/HS5/01563) and conducted at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw.
