Proces starzenia się społeczeństwa - wybrane aspekty

The ageing of societies is an objective process which is inevitable in the foreseeable future and irreversible in the short term. In addition to globalisation and internationalisation, the dynamic development of the ageing of the population is perceived as a contemporary socio-economic trend. The article focuses on outlining the phenomenon of the ageing of societies in a global perspective and discusses biological, psychological and social aspects related to it. For this purpose, a critical review of national and foreign literature on the subject was carried out.
