Abstrakt (EN)
Human features and behavior reflected in Hungarian phraseology and paremiology with the lexeme ló (horse). Phraseology and paremiology are important sources for the reconstruction of the linguistic vision of the world since the phraseological units consolidate attributes of objects, ideas and people. The most superior position in the linguistic world is held by a human being. The aim of the article is the analysis of features and behaviors of people established in the Hungarian phraseology and proverbs concerning a horse. An image of a man that emerges from this analysis is largely negative. In the summary, the author divides the proverbs under scrutiny into three groups, due to a role of the lexeme ló (horse) that serves in each of them.
