Pierwszy podrozdział poświęcono strukturze dramatu, rozważaniami nad jego przynależnością gatunkową oraz naturalistyczną techniką konstrukcji. The main aim is to show the multidimensionality of the work and its interpretative potential in the context of turn-of-the-century literature. The first subsection is devoted to the structure of the drama, a consideration of its genre affiliation and naturalistic construction techniques. The next section presents comic techniques and demonstrates the role of comedy, which not only serves to entertain, but is also a tool for exposing the hypocrisy and hypocrisy of characters caught up in social games. The dissertation also interprets the function of space, which becomes a catalyst for the transformation of the characters, intensifying the dramatic tensions. The final part of the argument focuses on the characters, dialogues and worldviews of the protagonists. Muszka, Lulu, Wituś and Tolo are presented as representatives of different approaches to social roles, shaped by the patriarchal systems of past eras. The characters' worldviews confront their personal desires with social norms, indicating the impossibility of full liberation within the existing order.
