Publikacje Zygmunta Glogera w czasopismach warszawskich z lat 1905–1910 a sprawa oświaty w Królestwie Polskim

From 1905 on, in the Kingdom of Poland saw the occurrence of very important social and political events, which had an impact on the situation in education (strikes, boycotts, setting up private schools, setting up new educational institutions, the development of primary schools and folk schools etc.). From 1905 to 1910, Zygmunt Gloger, an active contributor to numerous Warsaw journals (”Gazeta Polska”, ”Gazeta Świąteczna”, ”Kurier Warszawski”, ”Lutnista”, ”Naród”, ”Słowo”, ”Tygodnik Ilustrowany”, ”Zorza”, ”Ziemia”, to name a few), published articles in which he discussed the ideas of how to raise the level of education, particularly among peasants, and expressed his anxiety concerning the impact of socialist ideology on Polish people. Moreover, drawing on his vision of folk and national culture, he commented on the contemporary state of education in the Kingdom of Poland, suggesting ways of its further development.
