Niebezpieczna (potencjalnie) zabawa z prawem autorskim czyli dylemat fanfiction

The subject matter of this paper is the boundary between an adaptation of a previoos work and an independent work only inspired by an existing work. The paper invites to test the argument that such a boundary seems to be very difficult to draw empirically. In its main part the paper consists of a fan fiction short story with references to some particularities of „Game of Thrones” universe (however, without taking of any name or figure therefrom). Legal qualification of the fan fiction story (adaptation, plagiarism, no copyright infringment?) is left to the reader.
