La imagen de Francisco de Quevedo en sus biografías (siglos XVII- XXI)

Niniejsza praca stanowi analizę różnych form przedstawienia biograficznego Francisco de Quevedo, oceniając, w jaki sposób autorzy biografii radzili sobie z opisem jego życia, pracy i twórczości. Badane są tutaj trzy główne podejścia: biografia barokowa, biografia historyczna i biografia naukowa, z których każda prezentuje inną wizję postaci. Poprzez badanie różnych metod biograficznych, odniesionych do kontekstu historycznego, stwierdzono, że brak obiektywności biografa znacząco wpływa na przedstawienie obiektu badanego. Wnioskiem płynącym z wykonanego badania jest refleksja nad wartością biografii już nie tylko opowiadającej adekwatne o życiu danej jednostki, lecz także odzwierciedlającej kulturowe i ideologiczne interpretacje rzeczywistości właściwe każdej epoce i każdemu autorowi.

This thesis is an analysis of the different forms of biographical representation of Francisco de Quevedo, evaluating how biographical authors have approached the description of his life, work and creation. Three main approaches are examined here: baroque biography, historical biography and scientific biography, each of which presents a different view of the person. Through the study of the different biographical methods, related to the historical context, it is found that the biographer's lack of objectivity significantly affects the representation of the subject under study. The conclusion of the study is to reflect on the value of the biography no longer being limited to an adequate account of an individual's life, but also to mirror the cultural and ideological interpretations of reality specific to each period and each author.

La presente tesis es un análisis de las diferentes formas de representación biográfica de Francisco de Quevedo, valorando cómo los autores biográficos han abordado la descripción de su vida, obra y creación. Se examinan aquí tres enfoques principales: la biografía barroca, la biografía histórica y la biografía científica, cada una de las cuales presenta una visión diferente de la persona. A través del estudio de los diferentes métodos biográficos, relacionados con el contexto histórico, se constata que la falta de objetividad del biógrafo afecta significativamente a la representación del sujeto estudiado. La conclusión del estudio es reflexionar sobre el valor de que la biografía ya no se limite a relatar adecuadamente la vida de un individuo, sino que refleje también las interpretaciones culturales e ideológicas de la realidad propias de cada época y de cada autor.
