Status obserwatora w Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych

Praca podejmuje się tematyki instytucji obserwatora przy Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych. W pracy przybliżona została historia ONZ oraz struktura organów wewnątrz Organizacji. Następnie dokonano analizy charakteru prawnego instytucji obserwatora w ramach systemu Narodów Zjednoczonych. Scharakteryzowana została instytucja zwykłego obserwatora oraz stałego obserwatora przy Zgromadzeniu Ogólnym ONZ. Następnie przybliżono sylwetkę poszczególnych podmiotów posiadających status stałego obserwatora oraz obserwatora. Na koniec pracy podjęto próbę prognozy rozwoju instytucji obserwatora oraz określenia potencjalnych podmiotów mogących zyskać status obserwatora.

The thesis addresses the subject of the institution of the observer in the United Nations. The thesis takes a comprehensive overview of the history of the United Nations and the structure of the organs within the Organisation. It further analyses the legal nature of the institution of an observer within the United Nations system. The institution of an observer and a permanent observer at the UN General Assembly are both characterised. Thereafter, the profiles of the various entities holding permanent observer and observer status are outlined. Finally, the thesis attempts to predict the development of the observer institution and to identify potential actors that could obtain observer status.
