Pluralidad singular: transgresiones de la heteronormatividad en "Cosmofobia" y "Beatriz y los cuerpos celestes" de Lucía Etxebarria
Abstrakt (EN)
The novels "Beatriz y los cuerpos celestes" and "Cosmofobia" by Lucía Etxebarria are filled with queer concepts not only due to the presence of gay and lesbian characters but also thanks to the fact that they depict heterosexual charcters, maily women, who transgress patriarcal norms and reject the hetero/homo dichotomy. Etxebarria’s narrative reveals the insufficiencies of tradicional gender and sexual role definitions. On the basis of theoretical contributions of Monique Wittig, Christine Delphy, Colette Guillamin, Lucy Irigaray, Adrienne Rich, Gayle Rubin, Moe Meyer, Joanna Mizielińska and Barbara Smith the article aimes to extract, describe and analyze the function of feminist, lesbian and queer signs in the novels "Beatriz y los cuerpos celestes" and "Cosmofobia".
