Konsekwencje straty rodzica dla funkcjonowania dzieci i młodzieży na podstawie analizy wybranych seriali

Niniejsza praca dotyczy konsekwencji straty rodzica/rodziców dla funkcjonowania dzieci i młodzieży oraz analizuje sposób, w jaki ten temat jest przedstawiany w dwóch popularnych serialach dramatycznych skierowanych do młodzieży. Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów. Rozdział I obejmuje najistotniejsze informacje dotyczące zjawiska żałoby, w tym jej definicji, etapów przeżywania, potencjalnych następstw straty rodzica/rodziców, oraz różnych sposobów uzyskania i/lub oferowania wsparcia w sytuacji żałoby. Rozdział II zawiera dane dotyczące metodologii przeprowadzonych badań, których celem było uzyskanie odpowiedzi na pytania badawcze. Rozdział przedstawia przedmiot i cel badań, pytania badawcze, informacje na temat wykorzystanych metod i narzędzi badawczych oraz terenu i doboru próby. Rozdział III prezentuje wyniki analizy i wnioski z badań dotyczących konsekwencji straty rodzica/rodziców dla różnych sfer funkcjonowania dzieci i młodzieży ukazanych w serialach, rodzajów podejmowanych przez nie zachowań ryzykownych, sytuacji udzielenia pomocy i/lub sposobów na radzenie sobie w sytuacji żałoby, a także motywów przeżywania straty przedstawionych w wybranych produkcjach. Wyniki badań podkreślają jak istotne jest promowanie konstruktywnych strategii radzenia sobie z trudnościami wśród młodych ludzi.

This work addresses the consequences of the loss of a parent/parents on the functioning of children and adolescents and analyzes how this topic is portrayed in two popular dramatic series aimed at young people. The work consists of three chapters. Chapter I includes the most important information about the phenomenon of grief, including its definition, stages of experience, potential consequences of losing a parent/parents, and various ways of obtaining and/or offering support in a situation of grief. Chapter II contains data on the methodology of the research conducted to answer the research questions. The chapter presents the subject and purpose of the research, the research questions, information on the methods and research tools used, as well as the field and selection of the sample. Chapter III presents the results of the analysis and conclusions from the research on the consequences of the loss of a parent/parents for various spheres of functioning of children and adolescents shown in the series, the types of risky behaviors they undertake, situations of providing help and/or ways of coping with grief, as well as the motives for experiencing loss depicted in the selected productions. The research results highlight how important it is to promote constructive strategies for coping with difficulties among young people.
