Étude comparative de l’adverbe potwornie en polonais et de ses équivalents en français dans la construction Adv+Adj : approche lexicographique et basée sur le corpus

Celem niniejszej pracy licencjackiej jest zbadanie różnic w użyciu przysłówka potwornie w języku polskim oraz jego odpowiednika w języku francuskim, wybranego za pomocą słowników jedno- i dwujęzycznych. Badanie podzielono na część leksykograficzną i korpusową, w której przedstawiono kolokacje przysłówka z przymiotnikiem. Głównym założeniem pracy jest weryfikacja tezy, zgodnie z którą potwornie i jego ekwiwalent pełnią funkcję intensyfikatorów. W tym celu sprawdzono, czy znaczenia przymiotników powiązanych z analizowanym przysłówkiem mają związek z jego etymologicznym polem semantycznym. Badanie obejmuje również klasyfikację najczęściej występujących przymiotników według ich konotacji emocjonalnej (pozytywnej, negatywnej lub neutralnej) oraz określenie ich głównych pól semantycznych.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to examine the differences in the use of the adverb potwornie in Polish and its equivalent in French, chosen using mono- and bilingual dictionaries. The study is divided into a lexicographical part and a corpus part, which presents collocations of the adverb with the adjective. The main objective is to verify the hypothesis that potwornie and its equivalent function as intensifiers. To this end, it was checked whether the meanings of the adjectives associated with the analysed adverb are related to its etymological semantic field. The study also includes the classification of the most frequently occurring adjectives by their emotional connotation (positive, negative or neutral) and the determination of their main semantic fields.

L'objectif de ce mémoire de licence est d'étudier les différences dans l'utilisation de l'adverbe potwornie en polonais et de son équivalent en français, choisi à l'aide de dictionnaires mono- et bilingues. L'étude est divisée en deux parties : lexicographique et basée sur le corpus, qui présente les collocations de l'adverbe avec l'adjectif. L’hypothèse principale consiste à vérifier si potwornie et son équivalent français fonctionnent en tant qu’intensifieurs. Pour cela, il a été examiné si les significations des adjectifs associés à l'adverbe analysé sont liées à son champ sémantique étymologique. L'étude comprend également la classification des adjectifs les plus fréquents selon leur connotation émotionnelle (positive, négative ou neutre) ainsi que la détermination de leurs principaux champs sémantiques.
