The bachelor's thesis focuses on the course of UN peacekeeping missions in Haiti in 2004-2024. It presents the historical context of the crisis in Haiti, the reasons for establishing individual missions and their mandates. It describes the course of each mission along with changes introduced in the actions taken. It summarizes the successes, failures and controversies related to the presence of UN forces in Haiti, and then assesses the effectiveness of the actions taken and the degree of implementation of the established goals. The aim of the work is to answer the question to what extent the assumed goals were achieved and how effective were the actions taken using source analysis, the comparative method and case study.
