Praca licencjacka pt. „Fotografia jako narzędzie komunikowania własnej tożsamości. Analiza zagadnienia i wizualna wypowiedź autorska” koncentruje się na zagadnieniu tożsamości osobistej i rodzinnej w kontekście fotografii. W części teoretycznej omawiane są kluczowe definicje i koncepcje tożsamości (m.in. Eriksona, Freuda, Topolewskiej-Siedzik), z uwzględnieniem wpływu traumy transgeneracyjnej i systemu rodzinnego. Praca zawiera także zbiór inspiracji artystycznych (Billingham, Goldin, Mann, Sultan, Spence), które wpłynęły na powstanie omawianego cyklu. Część praktyczna stanowi wizualną narrację opartą na autoportretach i rodzinnych artefaktach, mających na celu opowiedzenie historii dziedziczenia, pamięci i osobistego dojrzewania. Projekt ma charakter introspektywny i autoterapeutyczny, a jego celem jest pokazanie, że fotografia może być formą samopoznania i budowania tożsamości.

Photography as a Tool for Communicating Personal Identity. An Analysis of the Issue and an Authorial Visual Statement is a thesis focused on the concept of personal and family identity in the context of photography. The theoretical part discusses key definitions and concepts of identity based on the work of, among others, Erik Erikson, Sigmund Freud, and Dominika Topolewska-Siedzik, taking into account the influence of transgenerational trauma and family systems theory.

An important part of the work is also the analysis of artistic inspirations – including artists such as Richard Billingham, Nan Goldin, Sally Mann, Larry Sultan, and Jo Spence – whose creative approaches influenced the development of the presented photographic series.

The practical part takes the form of a visual narrative composed of self-portraits and family artifacts, aiming to tell a story of inheritance, memory, and personal growth. The project is introspective and self-therapeutic in nature, and its main goal is to demonstrate that photography can serve as a means of self-exploration and identity formation.
