Wybór tego tematu jest podyktowany tym, że w ostatnich latach możemy zaobserwować bardzo dużą ilość wydarzeń, które mocno oddziałują na miejsce UE na scenie globalnej oraz w jaki sposób zmienia się ona wewnątrz i na zewnątrz. Temat jest istotny poznawczo i wymaga aktualnego podejścia do zagadnienia, albowiem nie został w sposób całkowity opracowany w literaturze przedmiotów i jest bardzo aktualny w dzisiejszych czasach, co wymaga przedstawienia podmiotowości UE jako Sui Generis, warunków na scenie globalnej po roku 2008 oraz wyłaniającej się wielobiegunowości. Wymagając by podkreślić jak UE i jej państwa członkowskie dostosowała swoje własne działania do tych następujących na Globie zmian i jakie może też wykonać.

The premise on which this thesis is focused, orientates itself around the EU's position on the International arena since the year 2008. The choice of this topic is dictated by observable increasing amounts of events that are greatly affecting EU's global position, additionally taking notice on how it changes itself on the inside of the organisation and the outside. This topic is an important subject of research about the EU. Needing a contemporary perspective and analysis, in the reason of them not being completely developed in the subjects literature, is very important in the present times. Which requires: presenting the EU as an entity called Sui Generis, its global position on the International arena since the year 2008 and emerging multi-polar world order. It is necessary to underline how the EU and its member states adapted their own actions to globally emerging changes, and what they can do.
