Identité (post)coloniale de la narratrice de Nulle part dans la maison de mon père d'Assia Djebar

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza (post)kolonialnej tożsamości narratorki powieści Assii Djebar pod tytułem Nigdzie w domu mojego ojca. Tożsamość ta jest wynikiem epoki kolonialnej, która sprawia, że skolonizowany jest rozdarty między próbą zachowania swojej własnej kultury i języka a przywiązaniem do języka i kultury kolonizatora. Praca jest podzielona na trzy rozdziały. Pierwszy analizuje relacje narratorki z mężczyznami, w szczególności z ojcem i ukochanym. Drugi rozdział skupia się na relacjach narratorki z kobietami, przedstawiając najbliższe jej kobiece postaci. Trzeci rozdział jest poświęcony językom, które otaczają narratorkę. Wszystkie te aspekty odgrywają ważną rolę w kształtowaniu tożsamości narratorki i ilustrują specyfikę tożsamości (post)kolonialnej.

The purpose of present thesis is to analyse the (post)colonial identity of the narrator of Assia Djebar’s novel Nowhere in my Father’s House. This identity is the result of the colonial era, which leaves the colonised torn between the attempt to preserve their language and culture and the attachment to the language and culture of the coloniser. This thesis is divided into three chapters. The first analyses the narrator’s relationships with men, in particular her father and her beloved. The second chapter focuses on the narrator’s relationships with women, presenting the female figures closest to her. The third chapter is dedicated to the languages that surround the narrator. All these aspects play an important role in the formation of the narrator’s identity and illustrate the specificity of (post)colonial identity in general.

L’objectif du présent mémoire est d’analyser l’identité (post)coloniale de la narratrice du roman d’Assia Djebar, intitulé Nulle part dans la maison de mon père. Cette identité est le résultat de l’ère colonial, qui laisse le colonisé déchiré entre la tentative de conserver sa langue et sa culture et l’attachement à la langue et la culture du colonisateur. Ce mémoire est divisé en trois chapitres. Le premier analyse les relations de la narratrice avec les hommes, en particulier avec son père et son amoureux. Le deuxième se focalise sur les relations de la narratrice avec les femmes, en présentant les figures féminines les plus proches de celle-ci. Le troisième chapitre est consacré aux langues qui entourent la narratrice. Tous ces aspects jouent un rôle important dans la formation de l’identité de la narratrice et illustrent la spécificité de l’identité (post)coloniale en général.
