Problem wykorzystywania dzieci w konfliktach zbrojnych - podejście instytucjonalne

Praca poświęcona jest zjawisku dzieci-żołnierzy na arenie międzynarodowej. W pracy przedstawione są historyczne uwarunkowania udziału dzieci w wojnach, od starożytności po współczesność, wskazując na czynniki społeczne, ekonomiczne, polityczne i kulturowe sprzyjające ich werbowaniu. Praca zajmuje się na analizie prawa międzynarodowego oraz działań organizacji międzynarodowych i pozarządowych. Wskazano przykłady praktyk reintegracji dzieci-żołnierzy oraz mechanizmy odpowiedzialności karnej wobec osób dopuszczających się rekrutacji. Praca ukazuje złożoność problemu, łączącego kwestie humanitarne, prawne i polityczne, podkreślając konieczność dalszej współpracy instytucji międzynarodowych w celu wyeliminowania tego zjawiska.

The thesis addresses the problem of child soldiers in the international arena. It presents the historical conditions of children’s participation in wars, from antiquity to the present day, highlighting the social, economic, political, and cultural factors that foster their recruitment. The study focuses on the analysis of international law as well as the actions of international and non-governmental organizations. Examples of reintegration practices for child soldiers are indicated, along with mechanisms of criminal responsibility for those involved in recruitment. The paper demonstrates the complexity of the issue, combining humanitarian, legal, and political aspects, while emphasizing the need for further cooperation among international institutions in order to eliminate this phenomenon.
