Problem przemocy wobec kobiet w Polsce i USA: analiza porównawcza

Celem niniejszej pracy jest przeanalizowane problemu przemocy wobec kobiet w dwóch wybranych państwach - Polsce i USA. Wskazane zostaną: skala omawianego problemu, akty prawne dążące do eliminowania przemocy oraz udzielania pomocy i wsparcia ofiarom, programy partii politycznych w omawianym aspekcie, działania podejmowane przez Prezydentów, mechanizmy i urzędy utworzone w ramach administracji państwowej, organizacje pożytku społecznego eliminujące lub pogłębiające skalę przemocy. Rozpatrzona zostanie kwestia ograniczenia praw reprodukcyjnych kobiet, jako jedna z form przemocy. Następnie praca dokonuje porównana problematyki we wskazanych powyżej aspektach: politycznym, społecznym, prawnym i kulturowym. Praca zawiera także historyczne ujęcie powstania problemu przemocy. Mimo tego iż, przemoc wobec kobiet nie jest zjawiskiem nowym, to jednak stanowi ona ogromne zagrożenie, z którym muszą mierzyć się dziewczęta i kobiety na całym świecie. Ponad to, wskazano skutki z jakimi muszą mierzyć się kobiety - ofiary, ich rodziny, gospodarka oraz państwo.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the problem of violence against women in two selected countries - Poland and the USA. The following will be indicated: the scale of the problem, juridical acts aiming at eliminating violence, providing help and support to the victims, political parties' programs in this aspect, actions undertaken by presidents, mechanisms and offices created within the state administration, social benefit organizations which eliminate or deepen the scale of violence. The restriction of women's reproductive rights as one form of violence will be considered. Then the paper compares this issue in the aspects indicated above: political, social, legal and cultural. The paper also includes a historical account of the origins of the problem of violence. Although, violence against women isn't a new phenomenon, it is a huge threat, which girls and women all over the world have to face. Above that, the effects of faced by women victims, their families, the economy and the state are indicated.
