Integracja kartotek haseł wzorcowych nazw osobowych w semantycznej bazie wiedzy Wikidane

This article deals with the problem of the presence of personal authority records in a network environment from the point of view of the so-called data network (Web of Data). Its aim is to show – on the example of integration in the Wikidata semantic knowledge base – how these records (the so-called ‘khw’ records) function outside the context of a library catalogue. The purpose of this research has been to specify the scope of the use of library ‘khw’ records as sources of information that allow us to control the forms of personal names in the Wikidata database. For this purpose, the author has analysed the data model in the Wikidata database and identified those metadata elements in it which are responsible for the implementation of the basic functions of personal authority records. Additionally, the author discusses the use of seven ‘khw’ records in the Wikitata database – also with regard to the Polish language Wikipedia.
