Federalistyczna wizja rozwoju Unii Europejskiej

Praca dyplomowa “Federalistyczna wizja rozwoju Unii Europejskiej” dotyczy potencjalnego scenariusza powstania tzw. Stanów Zjednoczonych Europy. Za pierwszą hipotezę badawczą pracy przyjęto następujące stwierdzenie: Ze względu na silną tożsamość narodową państw członkowskich Unia Europejska nie stanie się państwem federalnym, natomiast za drugą: Z uwagi na specyfikę niektórych obszarów współpracy, państwa członkowskie korzystają z elementów federalistycznej wizji rozwoju Unii Europejskiej. Autorka dokonała analizy możliwości pogłębienia integracji europejskiej oraz zbadała nastroje społeczne w tej dziedzinie z wykorzystaniem metod badawczych, takich jak: metoda opisowa, metoda porównawcza, metoda analizy dokumentów i literatury, metoda studium przypadku, metoda analizy i krytyki piśmiennictwa i metoda ilościowych badań społecznych. Zwieńczeniem prowadzonych badań nad koncepcją federalistyczną UE było badanie ilościowe, przeprowadzone w formie ankiety na 31 respondentach. Grupę badawczą stanowiły studentki oraz studenci kierunku “europeistyki” zarówno I stopnia, jak i II stopnia na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim.

The diploma thesis Federalist vision of the development of the European Union concerns the potential scenario of the creation of the so-called United States of Europe. The first research hypothesis of the work was the following statement: Due to the strong national identity of the member states, the European Union will not become a federal state, while the second one was: Due to the specific nature of some areas of cooperation, the member states use elements of the federalist vision of the development of the European Union. The author analyzed the possibilities of deepening European integration and examined the social mood in this field using research methods such as: descriptive method, comparative method, document and literature analysis method, case study method, literature analysis and criticism method and quantitative social research method. The culmination of the research on the federalist concept of the EU was a quantitative study conducted in the form of a survey on 31 respondents. The research group consisted of male and female students of European studies, both first and second cycle studies at the University of Warsaw.
