The work examines the conditions that must be met for the organisation of a strike to be legal under Polish labour law. The author classifies the different types of strikes, presenting their typology. The legal situation of both the employer and the employees during a strike is also presented, as well as the legal consequences related to the organisation of an illegal strike.
