Pojęcie prawdy w języku i wybranych dziełach malarskich

Praca opiera się na analizie pojęcia ‘prawdy’ w języku i malarstwie. Autor analizuje prawdę, posiłkując się materiałem zawartym w różnych rodzajach słowników, następnie analizuje prawdę w oparciu o metodologię kognitywną, posługując się metodą językowego obrazu świata. Na podstawie obecnych w języku wyrażeń dotyczących pojęcia prawdy autor wyodrębnia różne rodzaje konceptualizacji, które odzwierciedlają, jak prawda jest postrzegana przez użytkowników języka polskiego. Konceptualizacje uzyskane z analizy językowej są następnie wykorzystywane przy analizie wybranych dzieł malarskich, które również bezpośrednio tyczą się prawdy. Głównym zamysłem autora jest wykazanie związku między sferą językową a obrazową, wskazanie, że część wspólna tych dwóch płaszczyzn znajduje się w przestrzeni psychicznej. Autor, ostatecznie wskazując oddziaływanie sfery językowej na obrazową (ze względu na potencjalną prymarność pierwszej z tych sfer), zwraca uwagę na szereg innych możliwości, jakie niosą inne dziedziny nauki, które w znacznym stopniu mogłyby przyczynić się do uzyskania pewniejszych wniosków tyczących się związków między sferą językową i obrazową.

The work is based on the analysis of the concept of 'truth' in language and painting. The author analyses truth, using material from various types of dictionaries, then analyses truth based on cognitive methodology, using the method of the linguistic image of the world. Based on the expressions present in the language concerning the concept of truth, the author distinguishes different types of conceptualisations that reflect how truth is perceived by users of the Polish language. The conceptualisations obtained from the linguistic analysis are then used in the analysis of selected paintings, which also directly concern truth. The main intention of the author is to demonstrate the relationship between the linguistic and the pictorial spheres, to indicate that the common part of these two planes is located in the psychic space. The author, finally indicating the impact of the linguistic sphere on the pictorial one (due to the potential primacy of the first of these spheres), draws attention to a number of other possibilities offered by other fields of science, which could significantly contribute to obtaining more certain conclusions regarding the relationships between the linguistic and pictorial spheres.
